In the limelight! NUS lecturer - NoBird Lendme
Dear LSM2102 student,
A plaque is hole in a bacterial lawn. If there is no bacterial lawn because all cells have been lysed, you will no plaques. A plaque is defined by the outer limits. If there are no limits, there is no plaque. It is like the holes in swiss cheese. If there is no cheese, you can not say that there are holes. Even though you actually can eat Donut holes
Regards,
Norbert Lehming
